When will my membership be effective? |
|

The
membership will be effective 14 days from submission
received. |

If I was a member, and it has expired, can I still
'renew' or do I have to sign up all over again (and
pay the entrance fee)? |

Ordinary
Member / Basic Cardholder
If AAM fails to receive the renewal payment within
three (3) months of the membership expiry date, he
or she will cease to be a member. To enjoy the benefits
and services of AAM, he or she will have to rejoin
the Association as a new member by paying the Entrance
Fee and Annual Fee.

Will I get any receipt after I send my cheque payment
(for online application)? |

No.
For cheques sent to Autoworld.com.my Sdn Bhd, you will not get
any receipt when we get your cheques. Your reference
will be the email receipt sent by Autoworld after you
have filled up the application/renewal form completely,
with the Payment ID (eg. AS 1234) |

What will Autoworld do to my cheques? |

will send all cheques to AAM for processing. |

How long does AAM take to process the application?
|

will usually takes about 3 - 4 weeks to send you the
membership kit (card + guide book + directory + sticker
+ etc) |

What is Autoweb or Autoworld, and why should I send
the cheque to them instead of AAM offices? |

Autoweb is a company (full name: Autoweb Sdn Bhd (323199-A)) which used to manage the Autoworld website. But it has since been
owned by Autoworld.com.my Sdn Bhd (804477-T) since Jan 2008. We are currently managing the AAM online website on behalf of AAM.
