dear all,
I'm new here. may i know what is the maintance cost if i want to buy a kangoo with milleage more than 100K?
what are the major parts that need to change at this milleage? timing belt, engine mounting?

what would be the cost? Does it cost a bomb?

Thanks in advance.

ahk,

This is what I believe b4 buying a car lah.
1. I normally check who was the previous owner. Test the car thoroughly. Check everything.
2. If find any faults, ask the owner or used car dealer to repair before you buy. Otherwise, find somewhere else.
3. Check Full Service history of the car if available with car maintenance book. If not available....
4. With the car number, check with TCEAS computer on the service history of the car.
5. If the car was maintained by TCEAS, then you have full record and know what has been changed or replaced.

Every used car you purchased, get ready $$$$ as you need to repair, replace certain parts. This is part and parcel of
buying used car.
When I bought a Scenic recently, the clutch has worn out, some cracks at door handle, 1 power window not functioning,
meter light dim and fabric a bit torn. B4 taking delivery, the dealer repaired all those mentioned, which costs about 2K plus.
So far so good, car is running smoothly.
All the best to you, cheers!!! smile_big.gif
