What is the fuel consumption (fc) like for the new Accord 2.0 and 2.4 ? I
heard from one of my regular mechanic that fc for 2.0 is much higher than
the 2.4.
Regards.

Definately untrue.
I have Accord 2.0, and comparing with other 2.0 owners, my FC is similar
to them. Compared to 2.4, 2.0 has lower FC.

Does your mechanic own any Accord, 2.0, 2,3, 2.4 or 3.0 Vtec or i-vtec?.
My 4 months old 2.0 accord consumes an average of 11 km/L. The worst was
about 8km/L, almost 100% city and short distance driving.

Yes, he owned a 95 Accord and just upgraded to 2.4 i-vtec 1 month ago.
Maybe I wrongly heard on the high fc. Anyway thanks for your guys kind
feedback.

ovrdaw,
May be you are not wrong. What your mechanic means is, that his 95 2.0
Accord consumed more fuel compare to his current 2.4 i-vtec.
