Hyundai-Sime Darby Motors Sdn Bhd has officially announced price revisions for the new MD Elantra with the 1.6-litre variants subject to a RM2,000 price increase each, and the 1.8 Premium model hiked by RM3,000. Also announced were additions of new variants to the i10 and Sonata line-up offering customers of both these models additional choices.

With the price increase, entry into the Elantra range now starts at RM88,888 with insurance for the 1.6 Standard model with manual transmission. The Standard automatic model is priced at RM93,888, with the 1.6 High Spec sitting RM5k further north. Topping it off is the 1.8 Premium now at RM114,888.

The i10 range now has four variants, with a choice of two engines each offered with a choice of two trim levels. Customers of both the 1.1 and 1.25 models can choose between High Spec or Premium trim levels. OTR prices with insurance for the i10 now ranges from RM51,388 for the 1.1 High Spec to RM61,888 for the 1.25 Premium.

Offerings for the Sonata has also been widened, now with six variants to choose from - four 2.0 and two 2.4. The range now starts at RM137,478 for the 2.0 Elegance going all the way to RM169,888 for the 2.4 Sport. In between them are the 2.0 Executive, 2.0 Executive Plus, 2.0 Sport, and 2.4 Executive.
